Development status of aluminum canning in China

In recent years, the production of aluminum cans in China has been increasing year by year, and the annual consumption of aluminum cans in China is 6 billion to 7 billion.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China's beer production topped the world with 23,868,300 tons in 2002, surpassing that of the United States.

More than 5% of them are packaged in cans, 1.5 billion to 2 billion of which are used in the beer and carbonated beverage industry.

According to the industry experts predict, by 2010 the national can with aluminum will reach 290,000 T. Aluminum cans have many advantages, such as light weight, good sealing, not easy to break, etc., is used as a large number of beer, carbonated drinks, fruit juice and other food packaging materials.

Fruit juice drinks and multi-function drinks with natural ingredients are very popular and have occupied more than half of the beverage market. This kind of beverage cans are generally made of three pieces of tinplate, and the lid is made of aluminum and easy to open.

At present, the number of tinplate cans covered with aluminum cans in China is not large, only a few products such as babao porridge, walnut kernel, peanut kernel and so on.

It is expected that the annual growth rate will increase by 5% in the future. According to the prediction of China Beverage Association, the production of carbonated drinks will reach 8 million t by 2010. If the filling rate is calculated by 20%, the consumption of soda can will reach 12.4 billion.
