Volute offers bordeaux in aluminium bottles

Aluminum is more environmentally friendly than glass because it is more recyclable and strong, and because of its light weight, it reduces pollution from transportation.

According to the company, shipping the same amount of wine in an aluminum bottle releases only 30 percent as much carbon as a glass bottle.

The company also says that aluminum containers are better at blocking ultraviolet light and protecting the wine's aroma.

Volute announced a new range of bottles specifically designed for Bordeaux - strong, environmentally friendly aluminium bottles.

Volute was the first to offer premium aluminium-bottled wine, with three grape varieties including Sauvignon blanc, rose Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

They are all AOC certified grapes grown by small wineries in bordeaux, France.

According to the company, the four main attributes that make the product unique are: (1) independent packaging;

(2) Fine wine;

(3) Unbreakable aluminum bottle packaging;

(4) Environmental protection.

The wine is packaged in aluminium containers, making it easy to take to the pool, beach or barbecue.

The bottle is light enough to be carried anywhere in a backpack, not a glass bottle.
