The history of cans

In 1940, Europe and the United States began to sell beer with stainless steel cans, the appearance of aluminum cans at the same time has become a leap in canning technology.


In 1963, the can was invented in the United States, it inherited the previous pot shape design features, in the top design easy pull ring.

It was a revolution in the way of opening up, which brought great convenience and enjoyment to people, and thus was soon widely used.


By 1980, the American and European markets had largely adopted aluminum cans as packaging for beer and carbonated drinks.

As design and production techniques improved, aluminum cans tended to become lighter, dropping from 60 grams initially to about 21 to 15 grams in 1970.
