Development of injection-Blow molding technology of plastic bottle for medical use

The world's "injection-blow" molding process originated in the early 1950s.

Overseas polyolefin (HDPE, PP) medical plastic bottle application as early as the 1970s.

The relevant equipment research and manufacturing manufacturers include Wheaton, Jomar, Battenfeld and Bekum from Germany, ASB and Aokigu from Japan, and Uniloy Milacron from Italy. The main types are all one-step method with three work stations. Vertical screw structure is adopted in the US and Japan, while horizontal screw structure is adopted in Germany and Italy.

Tianjin Lisheng Pharmaceutical Factory (1984) and Shanghai Daming Glass Factory (1985) were the first batch of domestic enterprises that systematically introduced the "injection-blow" assembly line and produced plastic containers for pharmaceutical packaging.

A lot of basic work has been done for the digestion and absorption of polyolefin medical plastic bottles in China.

Jiangsu Weida Machinery Co., Ltd. has made great progress since 1989 when it first developed the "three-station" one-step injection-blow molding machine and put it on the market in 1991.

With the development of China's pharmaceutical industry and the support of the majority of users, the rapid development of 100 production lines per year in recent years has greatly improved the overall quality level of Pharmaceutical packaging containers (especially solid pharmaceutical tablets and capsule packaging) in China.
