How to sort PET bottles and PVC bottles?

If PET and PVC bottles are mixed together, we're talking about transparent bottles.

PET bottle molding is carried out in two steps, that is, injection molding and then blow molding, so there is an injection port at the bottom of each PET bottle, take a look at it.

PVC is blow molding, do not need to go through injection, so there is no injection port.

So if you pick up a bottle and it has a filler opening, it's PET, but not PVC.

If it is mass production, the bottle will be steamed, after the high temperature steam PVC will become opaque, PET is transparent, sorting is easy to recognize and save trouble, and after the steam label adhesive paper will automatically degumming, gently tear off.

It is difficult to recognize the bottle piece, so it can only be boiled or steamed. After boiling or steaming, THE PVC becomes opaque, while PET is still transparent. If the opaque PET is selected out, it will be pure.
